This is another in a little series of illustrations inspired by Irish folk tales. This one doesn’t refer to a specific story, but just sort of alludes to the landscape and folklore. It owes quite a bit to Ralph Steadman’s illustrations for Flann O’Brien’s writings but completely fails to capture the rough magic of those pictures.
