Here’s yet another attempt at creating an image or series of images for an online course I signed up for on Introduction to Children’s Illustration.

This isn’t my first stab at Beowulf, but I’m taking a different approach here that feels more in line with the direction of the course.

These are just experiments at the moment, with paint and ink, colour and composition, and really just attempting to communicate a story. I still don’t feel like I’ve really gotten to grips with the experimental nature of the task.
