There was no real plan to this fella, I just fancied playing with plasticine and seeing what appeared. It was, for a while, a Troll, and then I thought I’d spray the final puppet with a stone effect because Trolls seem to be associated with stone, but he came out looking like a Gargoyle, so that’s what he is.

Nice to think that one of my very earliest creative activities in my new art life was to sculpt a gargoyle for a short course I did- that became a Green Man, so perhaps I am finally fulfilling a very old brief.

Anyway, he’s the latest in a series of simple latex puppets, and has little stones for teeth.
