Argh, this painting is a real struggle, I keep painting over and over it and never quite hit the right spot. It is based on a bronze sculpture, so I have a reference for the light but not any colour. Anyway, I have abandoned it in this state for now, and may come back to it when we’ve had a bit of time apart.
