This post follows Otherworlds – Peru, Far From Home, and Land of the Incas, as a record of my holiday snaps from way back when I went travelling around Peru.
Here are some shots from a couple of places – the Chincha Islands, which I recall smelling pretty rank, and which have to me the feel of places where terrible things may happen – a sort of bleak wasteland where you might encounter Frankenstein’s monster, or some ancient remnant of a lost and hateful world, and of Isla Taquile on Lake Titicaca, which is altogether more charming and delightful, and where we witnessed some traditional folk dancing.
