I really want to be better at illustration, and I know that my drawing skills need a lot of improvement, but my biggest problem is that I don’t know what I want to draw. I’ve started going through Instagram and Pinterest and saving pictures that I would like to have made myself, to see if I can see any common themes emerge. In the meantime, I’ve just been playing around with different ideas and styles and techniques. None of which are very good, but you have to start somewhere, right?
