Saltburned

The second leg of our road trip holiday was to Saltburn-by-the-Sea where we stayed with family. Saltburn is a popular seaside tourist town, but we didn’t know all that much about it. It’s nestled among gold-crowned cliffs, and has a salty seaweed smell that we’re lacking down in Bournemouth. It has a lovely feel to it. We explored a ruined mill, the viaduct, the pier. Sadly the cliff lift wasn’t up and running yet. But we did get a day trip out to Whitby.
