The very first post I did for this blog, way back in October, was about making applehead dolls. Finally I have returned to it, with some progress on the first little character, who I have affectionately named Grandfather Beardcombe.

I have painted his face in acrylic and started sculpting a body from milliput and wire (with sculpey hands), which I intend to clothe one day soon in hessian.
