Waking the Dragon

Happy St George’s Day! And Shakespeare’s Birthday/ Deathday. What a day to celebrate the beautiful weirdness of Englishness. I’ve been reading my book Mummers, Maypoles and Milkmaids which is a joy.

However, today’s creative activity is a bit more literal. Celebrating St George’s encounter with the dragon, I have resurrected a very old project, started way back in the post Dragon.

I haven’t done much, but it’s enough to want to do more. I’ve stopped using green stuff which is incredibly expensive and replaced it with air dry clay, which might be too different a texture, but we’ll see.
