Captain Knut is slowly developing into a more usable puppet, and has grown a body and neck. The body is made of foam, following a pattern that I got from the irrepressible Adam Kreutinger, glued with contact glue, and covered in black fabric. The yellow trim is ribbon, and his buttons are just some old mismatched buttons I have. I wasn’t sure how to attach the head to the body so I cut a sleeve off of one of my shirts and hot-glued it to form a neck.
He’s sort of transformed from a ragged old sea dog to a rather dashing buccaneer.
Now I have to figure out how to do arms, and maybe mess his hair up and make him look a bit older and more worn.
