My 100 heads project has become a bit of a long and painfully drawn out process, which seems to constantly undo itself as it’s too infrequent to develop the muscle memory, so for these five heads I challenged myself to make each in just five minutes, all in the space of one evening.
I prepped the clay in advance to make it soft, and made the armatures ready and chose five imaged beforehand to aim to emulate, and obviously the baking time wasn’t included. And in reality they each probably took closer to ten minutes. But still a fast fun exercise. I think I’ll go back to the old style next time though.
