I am loving these Domestika courses I’ve been doing, and with the bundles they offer, it’s so cheap. I guess you could probably find similar material on YouTube but you’d have to spend a hell of a lot of time and trudge through a lot of rubbish before finding stuff this good.

My fourth outing is a course on making pop up books. It really reminds me of the sort of stuff I was doing when I was making Karakuri. The only complaint I have about the course is that it relies on you watching videos that it links to that are only in Spanish, which I do not speak, and the construction of these little examples of paper engineering are quite complex and technical (or they are to me at least) so that doesn’t make it easy.

Not very exciting I’m afraid, but here are some of the mechanism exercises.
