This is the final page and the final monster in the pop up book I’m making for my kids – the Hairy Plug Beast, a creature of hair that crawls out of the plug hole.

It’s interesting how gross hair is once it is removed from the head, but I kind of find that quite fun. I would have covered all the surfaces, but it already felt like the page was struggling to close with the thickness that’s on there. I wanted to include some unusual textures in this book, and I feel that this really achieves that!
