Last summer (by which I mean the plague summer of 2020) I coated some paper in cyanotype chemicals with the intention of doing a project, but the weather turned and the opportunity passed and the thought of it faded from my mind, and the paper sat quietly in a draw for a year.

And then the other day it suddenly occurred to me that I probably ought to give it a try again, although I pretty much thought that too much time would’ve passed and the paper would be ineffective. Turns out I was wrong, and i got this rather nice result.

I would love to do a more comprehensive project with cyanotypes, maybe using some kind of negatives rather than plants, which is all a bit over familiar.
