Here is the next stage of a portrait of my wife Laura, which I am doing for the Artistic Portraits in Watercolour course that I have bought on Domestika. This is an exercise in building tones using something called the grisaille technique. I don’t really understand what I’m doing, but hopefully by the end of the exercise I’ll have figured out what it all means!
