Here’s a little portrait, it’s supposed to be Frances de la Tour although I’ve got the proportions horribly wrong. I could keep fiddling with it but I’m a bit done now with pastels. Dickens is my favourite of this little selection.

I’m sure it’s an approach I will return to. I’m thinking maybe of trying landscapes. The pastels are just really hard to be accurate with as they’re quite blunt and smudgy.
