Masks and Memories

More from my work-in-progress storybook, drawing with oil pastels. Or maybe painting? I read recently that you’re supposed to call it painting when you use pastels.

In this session our hapless father character peruses some masks for the upcoming festivities, then feels the weight of age and mortality when he sees a lady who was his first kiss when they were children.
