It’s been a fair while since I was compelled to put brush to canvas for a traditional sort of portrait, but the floodgates of creativity seem to be opening and this is what has come out!

It’s not quite finished but I’ve reached the end of my patience with it for now.

I find it interesting that I seem to have lost a lot of the confidence of my very early paintings and have done a lot of dib dabbing around on this one. Nonetheless I’m not unhappy with it.
