My daughter’s project to complete in this half term is to make some puppets based on a traditional story. I tried to encourage her to go for something outlandish, but she opted for the Three Little Pigs.
Out of all the school projects she’s had to do this one really is up my street, and I thought had better do something with her that’s more than gluing a picture to a lollypop stick, so we went all out!
She sculpted a pig in clay, which we molded in plaster and cast in latex. I cut a couple of holes for her fingers to go through to be the pig’s arms. Now we’ve got to figure out how to clothe him.
While she made her pig, I made my own. Mine was the straw house pig and hers is the brick house pig.
