This is the second creation in my Scratch Week in which I am attempting to make a scratch creation in less than day using only the things available at hand, with roughness and unfinishedness being parts of the essential feel of the thing.
This was once a toy horse that has been repurposed as a sort of mini Mari-Lwyd entity. Its jaw is on a separate stick to allow it to speak, and the tattered strips are supposed to suggest the ragged Morris look. It has wires coming out of its eyes because I’m interested in the dramatic possibilities of folk culture encountering technology.
