Today is the first day of Polaroid week, so I dug out my old Polaroid camera recently and a very expired film (July 2006). Given that we are all distancing and isolating at the moment, we stayed in and I took some photos of my daughter who wanted to dress in her princess dresses.

Polaroid film definitely has associations of childhood and nostalgia for me, so it seemed like an apt subject, and also a subject with the potential to be a bit strange. I had anticipated doing some weird things to the pictures to distort and disturb the images, but they were already pretty freaky from how expired they were!
