This is the first piece of a mini project I am working on, which I call Museum of the Macabre, where I intend to make a number of creepy objects for an imagined exhibition.

I suppose there already is one post on this already, because I will be including the Withered Hand that I made many moons ago when I did my model making course at AUB in Bournemouth.

This is a pickled fairy creature of some kind, with half-preserved skin and tattered old wings, displayed in an old Victorian jar. For its final presentation, I would love to mount it into a wooden base which could be lit from below, giving the jar an eerie glow. Not sure i have the technical skills but I’ll give it a try.
