Seemed I jumped the gun with my snail, as this wasn’t actually a proper task for the Surrealistic Drawing course I’m doing, and there are more technical exercises to do first and then there will be an official exercise that does involve snails, which is a weird coincidence! That will teach me not to read the instructions properly.

Anyway, these are the more technical tasks, drawing different textures and contrasts. A bit boring, like practising your scales, but not something I would have the motivation to do if it wasn’t for the course!
