The next task in my efforts to improve my drawing skills (using the book Drawing on the Right Side of Your Brain by Betty Edwards) is to draw my hand on a transparent home-made viewer. Very straightforward – much easier than the upside down task – and I can see how it’s useful in starting to observe the real shape of things.
