I feel a real connection with a couple of my previous puppets, Robbie Redcap and Meat Head, and I thought I’d have a go at another one. I think they appeal to the sort of fun I get from Terry Gilliam films or the darker Jim Henson stuff. Also, they’re a bit rough around the edges – the more fingerprints the better.

So this is my sculpture for Jenny Greenteeth, a malevolent water-dweller, who will drag you under if you dare to get too close. My idea is to sculpt her some teeth once I’ve made a latex cast, and also to make some latex hair that looks sort of pond weed-y.
