I’m on a bit of a puppet thing at the moment, and have been absolutely loving the Dark Crystal Age of Resistance series.

I’ve found it really difficult to find out exactly how those amazing puppets were made so I figured the only thing I could do was have a try at a few things myself.

So this goblinoid beastie is a little experiment inspired by the denizens of Thra that will hopefully end up being a latex puppet of some kind.

I wanted it to feel like it had been hand-sculpted so have left lots of the lumps and bumps in, like he has been scraped together with mud and clay. It was also great to give my new sculpture stand a trial run.
